How It Works

Scoring Factors
- Positive marking: every correctly highlighted word gives 1 point.
- Negative marking: every wrong click deducts 1 point, but the total score is floored at 0.
- Misses do not deduct: if you skip an incorrect word, you just lose the chance to gain that point.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Clicking every suspicious word too early instead of waiting for clear audio evidence.
- Chasing spelling differences when the spoken word actually matches the transcript.
- Forgetting that wrong clicks hurt the score more than cautious skipping.
Practice Method
Skim the transcript first, follow the audio line by line, and click only when you are confident the spoken word and displayed word do not match.
